Tina wins best hat in Killarney wearing CKM

Killorglin designer Tina Griffin won the Dawn Milk Most Stylish Hat competition wearing a Carol Kennelly Millinery headpiece at Killarney Races ladies day. Tina won a fantastic trip for two to Milan and a specially commissioned vase.  Carol Kennelly designed the beautiful cream and pastel floral head piece worn by Tina. Tina designed and created her own matching outfit a 50’s style two-piece with cream top and powder blue skirt. 

Mags Healy from Kilgarvan was selected as the first runner up in the Dawn Milk Most Stylish Hat. Mag’s hat was also created by Kerry milliner Carol Kennelly giving her a double win in the Killarney fashion stakes. Mag’s wore an amazing black and white polka dot hat which complimented her outfit beautifully. It was also another double win for Tina Griffin, the winner of the Dawn Milk Most Stylish Hat, as she also created Mag’s outfit a beautiful white dress with a black belt,

Monika Figaj from Killarney, captivated judges with her stylish Italian summer sun dress, antique gold head piece and coordinated accessories, when she was selected as the 20th Dawn Milk Queen of Fashion Winner at Ladies Day in Killarney on Thursday 18th of July, 2013. Monika won a trip for two to the capital of style Paris and a specially commissioned vase.

 Judges Roz Purcell, one of Ireland’s top models, with leading fashion stylist Roxanne Parker and current Rose of Tralee, Nicola McEvoy, hand-picked 20 finalists from the thousands of women who attended the glorious sunny day at the Dawn Milk Ladies Day. Following the announcement of the winners Roxanne Parker commented “Monika’s outfit was a weather appropriate summer sun dress and it was accessories beautifully. Her shoes were stunning the right height, with a gorgeous clutch and her accessories added an individual touch to a classic outfit. The golden head piece completed the outfit perfectly. Monika was really well presented with her hair and make-up. She really shone as a winner”.
