I launched my new Spring Summer 2012 collection at The 4th annual KFW Fashion Awards designer showcase at the Pavilion at Ballygarry House Hotel on Thursday night. It was a fabulous night with lots of glamorous ladies attending with bubbles flowing and fab cake lollypops by cloudberry bakery, also in the designer showcase were Michael Leong, Karyn Moriarty, Umit Kutluk, House of Delphine, Kathleen McAuliffe and Caroline Atelier. Many thanks to KFW organiser Orla Diffily for a hugely successful event, and her team – Lisa Dennehy (stage manager), Erika Fox (stylist), Ray Stack (sound), Kathryn O Neill (make up) and Tricia O Sullivan (Munster Mobile Hair), Noel Ryan, (front of house manager), Mary Lynch (PR / Event Assistant). Following the designer showcase it was time for the KFW awards, for emerging designers to showcase their talent to a local, national and international audience. The scope of the awards has widened to include national entries from those working in the Irish Fashion Industry, whilst continuing to celebrate the very best of Kerry Fashion talent. The judges were Melanie Morris, Image Magazine, Michael Leong, Milliner and Liz Greehy, Editor, Style Bible.ie
